SR. SEARCH MARKETING MANAGER

Covario, Inc. is the leading provider of web-based software that helps Fortune 500 &amp; Global 2000 companies maximize customer acquisition and retention on Google, Yahoo and other major search engines. The Search Marketing Manager is responsible for running clients’ paid search marketing campaigns, which includes: planning, execution, optimization, client communication, and budget management to help achieve client goals and objectives throughout various online campaigns. The Search Marketing Manager will be working closely with many vendors in the Internet space including Google, Yahoo, MSN, Omniture, WebSideStory, and translation/localization providers.

This person will need to be highly analytical and organized, think strategically, understand business drivers, be a team player, and effectively use analytics and modeling to make decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement best-in-class search marketing techniques

• Run all aspects of large-budget search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns

• Execute search marketing tactics, including: keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking &amp; reporting, A/B testing, analysis &amp; segmentation of website user data, complex ROI modeling

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, conduct meetings, manage expectations

• Manage campaigns to effectively reach client KPIs

• Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns

• Continually evaluate new opportunities for growth and expansion

• Manage tracking and reporting of campaigns and provide management reports and insights

• Manage accounts with multiple search engine vendors both domestic and international

• Plan campaign strategy and set goals

• Manage program to budget and ensure high profitability

• Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends / constantly review the marketplace for new online opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years hands-on search engine marketing experience

• 2 -5 years account management experience

• BA/BS, MBA preferred

• Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point

• Self-directed and an enthusiastic team player

• Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large datasets to gain insights and drive business decisions

• Excellent writing &amp; communication skills

• Proven track record of success

• Knowledge of computer &amp; technology products

• Ability to multitask in fast-paced dynamic environmentPreferred Experience (not required):

• Experience working with Omniture, WebTrends, Urchin, Hitbox

• Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and/or German

• Experience working in SQL

• Prefered experience in the financial/banking/credit card arena
